Cougars hold a special place in my heart.

I am not going to lie, I am not fond of cats but cougars are different. My first car was a 1983 Mercury Cougar, navy blue, two doors, yeah it was sweet. Now I find out a cougar was caught this morning wandering around Willmar. I guess the elementary school was in lockdown because cougars eat kids? But they did catch it without injuring it, now they just gotta figure out where it came from. Hmmm

Who reads this stuff anyways?

Someone must. My ipod is fixed, last night Ben and I huddled over the little overpriced piece of plastic, pulled it apart and put the new screen in. Surprisingly it works, I am amazed.

Equally amazing was the Gopher Mens Basketball victory over #11 Indiana. We went to the game, had really great seats and got to see one of the best performances by the Gophers since the Clem Haskins era.

Apparently my mom was not happy that I posted about her inappropriate language. She called to tell me she wanted me to remove the part on my website where she swears. I was like "Mom, seriously nobody reads my website, don't worry." She begged to differ claiming "everybody" reads it. Mom, my brother and a couple of friends is not "everybody", and plus "everybody" has already heard you swear in person so reading about it will not be a shock.

I got this sweet new phone, of course I have no idea how to use it and have like 2 numbers programmed in it so at this point I guess I wouldn't call it sweet, more like annoying. I don't use my mobile phones much, I have 2 of them which it just unnecessary but one is for work and one is my home number.

Please, please everyone cross your fingers for a bunch of snow. This snowless grassland is driving me batty! And the Lakes-Loppet is still on if we get a couple of inches before Wednesday.

Man, it has been a week since I posted?

Maybe it has something to do with my distaste for this warm spring weather. Hello Minnesota it is winter, I love snow and cold and all we have is mild temps and slushy streets. What a bunch of crap. We are racing in the City of Lakes-Loppet next weekend but who knows if there will be enough snow to race on or if they will even try holding the event. At least the weather held out for the Pond Hockey Championships last weekend, it was cold even. My parents were up and we checked it out and it was pretty cool. We also got to see one of the last Wolves games with Wally Szcerbiack. Good thing too, because my mom wanted to see him in person and she did, from the 8th row. I don't know if she was in a tizzy from all the excitement of the game or what happened but she dropped an f-bomb when we were playing cards that night. We all looked at her, jaws open, like what in the world? My dad just calmly said "Where did you learn to talk like that", as though she was suddenly speaking in tongues or something.

So my Ipod is broke.

Yeah apparently running over an ipod with a vehicle is not such a good idea. I brought it back and said hey, these are supposed to be load tested to at least 20 tons, come on Apple, well actually I said, hey can you fix this? They won't but they will give me 10% of a new one, pfffft. The weird thing is it still plays, you just can't tell what it is playing. I put it on shuffle by counting for clicks but have gotten tired of shuffle, I swear the shuffle gravitates towards the aladdin soundtrack and christmas music. So anyways I bought a replacement screen from eBay for $45 and hopefully Ben and I can figure it out. I mean we are both engineers, I am mechanical and Ben is civil but it would be helpful if we knew a electrical engineer. Never mind they are too nerdy to hang out with us.

Extreme Bikini Challenge Day #7

Day 7. Here's me and my peeps during our last full day in Playa del Carmen. This suit is a mix and match, I got the top from my friend Munce and the bottom is mine. It is a nice suit but gave me some funny tan lines in the front! Hasta la vista Mexicio.

Extreme Bikini Challenge Day #6

Day 6. Today was hot but still it rained. I thought rainy season was over? Our vacation is coming to a close, we have the wedding tomorrow and my last extreme swimsuit entry. Man vacations fly by!

Extreme Bikini Challenge Day #5

Day 5. Hey it stopped raining and we went on an Adventour with ziplines, cave snorkeling, tubing and biking. It was pretty sweet. Sorry there is nothing entertaining about this suit, but fit was a priority today.

Extreme Bikini Challenge Day #4

Day 4. Hola senors et senoritas! Everyone seem to like this suit, but nobody likes this weather, it is raining on and off today. At least it is pretty warm but no sun is just no fun.

Sunday, January 8

Extreme Bikini Challenge Day #3

Day 3. This bikini was a toughie, it did not stay on the top at all and the bottoms made my butt look square. Apparently this suit is made for someone with a slightly different body type. Despite all its downfalls it is a pretty sweet looking suit.

Extreme Bikini Challenge Day #2

Day 2. Wow the beach is gorgeous here. This bikini was a new purchase and I am happy with it, it stays put in all the places it is supposed to.

Friday, January 6

Extreme Bikini Challenge

Day 1. This suit didn't even make it to the water, it is cold here! I mean it is only 70 degrees, bummer.

Extreme Temperature Change

So last weekend we were skiing at Giant's Ridge in Biwabik. Now this weekend we are off to Mexico for my friend's wedding. Talk about climate change, I don't know if my seasonal clock will be able to handle it? In regards to the wedding I am a bride's maid again, the dresses are hot pink and ......what more is there to say, hot pink dresses are my forte? It will be fun, hopefully I won't be burnt like a lobster by the time the Thursday wedding rolls around.

Weirdness

What? There is a coffee shortage in Venezuela? That is like a meth shortage in Anoka, not very likely or beliveable.

Let it Snow!

The snow on Friday was awesome, really wet and heavy but still awesome. I don't think there was any one person more excited to see the snow fall then this kid, he finally got his tractor working after it had been sitting for a year and this summer found a matching snowplow. The tractor was sitting in the garage ready to go when Ben got home from work at noon, he hardly had his truck door shut and the tractor was already fired up. Boys and their toys, I don't get it.
